Help make Rochester a little bit better! During the week of April 21-28, 2007, volunteers from Rochester neighborhoods, businesses, groups, and individuals will be working together to pick up the litter in our community.

8:30 am Opening program at the RCTC Fieldhouse
- April 21-27 Groups collect litter
- Saturday, April 28
9:30 am RNeighborWoods tree planting on Elton Hills Drive
11:30 am Closing picnic celebration at the softball field (2619 Elton Hills Drive)

We’ll be planting Serviceberry, Tree Lilac, Adams Crabapple, and Ginkgo trees (in spaces that are not under the power wires).

This Coffee & Conversation with our legislative delegation and local elected officials will focus on questions generated by you! Bring your questions and issues regarding any issue (education-early childhood, K-12, higher education, budget/taxes, health care, transportation, energy/environment, human services, etc.).

Have you seen some suspicious activity in the neighborhood? Have you been a victim of a petty crime? Do see traffic problems on your streets? Are you reporting these to the Rochester Police department??!! The police department wants you to report any crime or safety issues immediately and to keep reporting them if they keep occurring. The more they hear from you, the more information they have to do their job of keeping Rochester safe.
