Join your neighbors for the Northwest Neighbors 9th Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale. The Northwest Neighborhood Association will again sponsor this year’s garage sale on Friday, May 18, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and Saturday May 19, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Anyone in the Northpark, 55th Street Estates, Harborage, White Oaks, Summit or Apple Ridge neighborhoods can participate. You can choose to participate both days, just one day or even start your sale on Thursday if you wish.
There are no fees required of you for your participation, so if you are planning a sale this spring, here is an easy way to receive free advertising and because of the large number of sales, lots of traffic into the neighborhood that will know about your sale. “Salers” have grown accustom to our annual sale and plan on attending each year.
The Association will provide for advertising in the Rochester Post-Bulletin and The Rochester Shopper as well as the Mayo Clinic Pages for the sale dates and times indicated in the previous paragraph, but you may have any hours you wish. The Association will also post signs at the entrances to the neighborhood. You are asked to display signs directing traffic to your particular sale. If you have particularly attractive items, you may also wish to place your own sale ad(s).
Additionally, to advertise your sale, their will be an interactive map of the neighborhood for you to itemize the items you have for sale. Use the form below to indicate your address and sale items (limited to 200 characters). A map of garage sale locations can be seen here.
